I am a wife, daughter, youngest sibling of my 3 besties, aunt to 9 wonderful kids and formerly a fur-mom to a chihuahua and miniature pinscher.
Now I am Mamá to my amazing little boy and my baby girl.
For 14 years, I worked as a marketing professional. I was quite good, if I do say so myself. But…I lost my job the week I came back from maternity leave.
As someone who worked remotely as an independent contractor for nearly a decade, I realized that this didn’t mean the end of my career. Simply, it was a shift in how to do it.
I originally decided to create this blog to share my journey on finding a way to stay home with my baby, honor my exclusive breastfeeding journey and general parenting discovery.
Over time, About That Mom Life focused on pretty much anything that became part of my motherhood experience.
I practice attachment parenting and safe bedsharing and I believe in normalizing breastfeeding.
I’m an introvert and I love hard, laugh hard and cry hard. And as you may have noticed if you’ve read my posts, I love watching the Real Housewives of almost anywhere.
I’m authentic but an overthinker, which causes me to pull back. I’m learning how to combine my private tendency with my sharing my life on my blog so that it can do what it’s intended to. Bear with me.
I hope to make connections with others who relate to me, bridge gaps of mutual understanding to those that don’t and hopefully provide inspiration to someone trying to afford to be at home with their baby so they can enjoy all the precious moments.
