So I read this article a few weeks ago and I was blown away!  It was super informational and inspirational.

Howwwwwwever, one little thing stood out for me. Very early in the article, it says the following: “We literally dissolve parts of ourselves, starting with gluteal-femoral fat, aka our butts, and turn it into liquid to feed our babies.”


You mean, by breastfeeding, I’m slowly loosing my tush?! I want absolutely no parts of that!

Unfortunately, it turns out to be true for me. I’m slowly watching my ass disappear before my eyes. Something must be done. So I’ve decided to embark on yet another challenge: a squats and plank challenge.

I haven’t picked a duration. I just know I’ll be doing both in tandem. I thought my tummy was my only “problem area” but it turns out, I have another. Again, I haven’t worked out the details but I’m thinking the number of squats will be in correlation to the number of seconds I do a plank (i.e. 50 squats, 50 second plank and increase by 10 as the days progress).

I’ll post the plan when I work it out. Writing it makes me accountable.
